Sura Mexico needed to implement the agile scrum methodology in conjunction with the acquired issue tracking tools on the Azure platform for its internal software development projects. They had previously tried to do it without satisfactory results, so they decided to hire the firm Praxis, a global IT products and solutions company. The project had to show results immediately due to previous bad experiences.
Praxis hired Shambala Consulting and our team to implement the process and adapt the tool in a very short pilot project (MVP), so a key project was chosen with its corresponding development team that had already been working with the tool, but without automation of the process. For this we include three Senior resources: PM and agile process consultant, a .Net development technical leader, and an Azure Boards specialist.
The consultancy began in September 2023 and lasted four sprints (2 months), where we additionally encountered a problem: the compilation process in .Net of an old version made it impossible to reuse this compilation in different environments. This issue was resolved and the entire CI/CD process was automated and all documentation material was also delivered so that Sura can replicate it in other environments.
